Jon here, a new face at Slite! I'll be taking over the product updates newsletter and managing our release notes. So... hello! Feel free to say hi. I'd love to hear all about how your team is using Slite to get things done.
Now, down to business.
We're back today with a (slightly late ) roundup of all things new in Slite this past month. Plenty of improvements and fine-tuning have been rolled out including snoozing of reminders, updated cover image options, huge performance improvements and more. Read on for all the details!
Giving cover images a facelift
Cover images give you a space to illustrate what your Docs are about or put your branding front and centre for public sharing. We've revamped the layout options into two modes: Banner and Badge. As always, you can pick an image from Slite's gallery, upload your own photo, or choose one from the Unsplash collection. The Badge option is a great way to add branding, headshots or other smaller elements to make your Doc shine.

Give hints with a custom emoji flavor
Hint blocks are useful for creating call-outs with key information in the your Docs. Our latest update makes them more flexible, allowing you to customize the emoji and select from a range of themes to quickly get your message across.
Try it now by typing "/hint" into the editor
Hit the snooze button on reminders
Working asynchronously means you should have the flexibility to choose when to tackle the next item on your list. We've added the ability to snooze your reminders on both desktop and mobile so you can resurface notifications at a time that works for you.

Keeping things quick
We've improved the performances of Collection loading time – they now load more than 20 TIMES FASTER. On top of that, with some backend magic we've cut down Doc loading time across the board. You should already be feeling the difference, especially if you're working with really big (1000+ block) Docs.
