 🪐Changelog - Slite

Since the release of  Discussions  last month, we've had plenty of remote teams eager to give Slite a try. But there was a hitch - for many, migrating their carefully crafted Notion docs was a pain. Well, no more! We've launched a brand new Notion Import to help teams and solo users alike  make the move . Partying Face

Read on for this and other exciting bits from the last month including: the major work that's happened on comments, the first steps of a big update to sharing and permissions, and new ways to annotate images in sketch.

Let's go!

Import from Notion Raising Hands

For many teams, having an easy way to bring their existing docs from Notion to Slite is a must. Well, it's finally here. Give the brand new Notion import a try by heading to the main menu and "Import Content".

Keeping comments findable 🫧

Comments are a major piece of the puzzle when it comes to collaboration. But we've heard that they're easy to miss sometimes when reading a Doc. The grey underline just wasn't enough to catch the eye. So, we've added bubbles on the right side of the Doc to flag-up where a comment has been made. Comments are now easily spotted with a quick scan, regardless of whether you've read them before or not.

Revisiting resolved comments Open Book

We've also made it easier to find resolved comment threads by giving them a home alongside all comments on a Doc (rather than hidden away in another location as before). Flip a toggle to cycle through all comment threads on a Doc, whether they're resolved or open.

Sketch on images Artist Palette

Giving feedback on a mockup? Adding explainers to a chart? You can now Annotate & Sketch on images. An incredibly useful way to add quick callouts and notes to your Doc's visuals and add clarity for your team.

Refreshed share pop-up Sparkles

We've redesigned the sharing pop-up for both web and mobile to give you more clarity on who has access to do what on a Doc. And, in the case of mobile, there's some new handy functionality - you can now search for people and edit their roles while on the go.
