Slite MCP is now in the Claude directory

Connecting a Slite workspace to Claude now takes a couple of clicks. Agents can also control where a note lands in the sidebar, and upload files straight into docs.

See where your AI credits go

The AI usage page now shows a per-feature breakdown bar on each user row, so you can see which features consumed what, per person. You can also export every credit consumption event as a CSV, with all the underlying data attached.

A calmer sidebar

Channels now live under one clear Docs section, with templates, archive and shared-with-me tucked into See all docs. Search becomes a full landing page that absorbs recent activity and replaces the Updates tab. Agent threads appear contextually, and agent sources, AI credits and agent settings are grouped together in Settings.

Improvements

• Mobile 2.18.0: more stable navigation from notifications and comments, plus performance improvements
• You can now set where a document lands when creating or moving it through the API and MCP: top, bottom, or a specific position
• MCP: a new upload-file tool for images, PDFs, audio and video
• The editor now warns you when a doc is getting close to its size limit, and suggests splitting it before writes start failing
• New collections take about half the space they used to, so that limit is much harder to hit
• Desktop 1.6.0: deep links open in a new tab instead of replacing the current one, reopen closed tabs with cmd shift T, clearer titles on all pages, and the agent shortcut is no longer set by default (an onboarding popover helps you pick one)

Fixes

• Reverting to an older version no longer drops your recent edits — Slite saves a checkpoint of the current version first
• Jira and Confluence search no longer gets stuck after hitting a rate limit
• Connected sources now return your last known results when they hit a rate limit, instead of coming back empty
• GitHub can be connected as an agent source again
• Root website sources now show up in the source picker, so you don't have to add every subpage individually
• Commenting on a table row no longer jumps the page to the bottom of the table
• PDF exports now include the content inside collapsible sections
• The sources panel no longer opens on its own during a run, which was covering most of the screen on mobile
• Remaining English strings in the German interface are now translated
• Comment threads are reliable on mobile again, and tapping a comment notification opens the right thread
• In protected collections, the "temporarily unlocked" banner no longer covers the last row and the New doc button
• Public docs no longer throw a full-page error for readers
• Resolved comments no longer vanish while you have the doc open — they move to the Resolved tab
• Desktop: one notification across all your tabs, and clicking it opens the thread in a new tab
• Dragging subpages to reorder them in the sidebar now applies reliably
