We've had a jam-packed 5 weeks since the last update. There's a lot to catch you up on in Slite (and a lot in the pipeline that we can't wait to share in the coming weeks!).
The most exciting bit today? The next step of Discussions is here, aiming to make decision-making an even more seamless part of working in Slite. Check out the details below.
On top of fine-tuning and evolving the product side, these days we're also taking a step back and thinking about the future of Slite. What does it take to be the ultimate knowledge base for teams? I'd love to hear from you on this. What brought you to Slite and what we can do to make it even better?
One of the big upsides of combining Discussions and docs in your knowledge base ( ) is that important conversations are tightly integrated with where your team is working, not stowed away in some other tool.
Today's update takes it a step further, letting you create Discussions in-line, inside the Doc you're working on. By typing /discussion you can create a new Discussion from anywhere in Slite.
Check out this great example from NiNick , a Product Manager at Slite, showing how our Product team uses embedded Discussions to develop specs and make decisions as they work.
Recurring Docs nudge your team into action by automatically creating Docs on a schedule (pinging the right folks and using a Template of your choice). This works great for getting input on your next meeting agenda, prepping for a 1-to-1, or to manage fully async stand-ups with the team.
We've added a few more options to help it fit your workflow. You can now schedule Docs to be created weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

A quick count of Visits is shown in the Share menu, click through for detailed stats
We've also sharpened up the preview images for Public Docs to make sharing on social media more eye-catching. Take a look. Also, we've enabled Collections in Public Docs, making it easier to share more complex pieces of content outside your team.
We've added Miro to our long list of rich embed options in the editor! Just type /Miro , enter a link to the board you'd like to add, and away you go.
