Connect Google Docs with Slite.

View your Google Docs content right within Slite.
Overview
Embed Google Docs directly in your Slite workspace to keep all your important information in one place, making it easier for your team to access and collaborate on documents without switching between tools.
How it works
This feature is built right into Slite. No setup, no connection - just follow the steps below.
There are two easy ways to add Google Docs to your Slite page:
- Copy the Google Doc URL and paste it directly into your Slite doc.
- Or Type
/embed
, then paste the Google Doc link into the box that appears.
Either method will embed the document, allowing your team to view and interact with it without leaving Slite.
- Works only in the Slite web editor (Chrome, Safari, etc.).
- Remember to set appropriate sharing permissions for your Google Doc to ensure your team can access it within Slite
- Currently not supported in the desktop app - the block shows a “web-only” message.
- Troubleshooting: If the block is blank or shows “Sign-in required”, the share link isn’t public or the viewer lacks permission.
