How to Set Up Okta SSO

Use OpenID Connect in Slite to allow users to securely sign in with Okta identities. It will also become the only way people can sign in to Slite.

How to Set Up Okta SSO

Step one: Do the following in Okta

In your Okta workspace, go to the Applications tab, then click Create a new application.
Choose the Web App type.
In the login redirect URL input, add the following URL:
for Slite and Super customers: https://slite.com/api/auth/openid/callback
for Super only customer: https://super.work/api/auth/openid/callback/



Check the Refresh Token box.

Check the Refresh Token box.

Step two: Do the following in Slite

Click your workspace logo in the top-left corner.
Select Settings from the menu, then go to the Security section.
Click Expand next to SSO Authentication Enforcement, and click OpenID authentication.
Enter the name of the authentication provider.

• The provider URL is the URL of your Okta workspace under the form

Enter your Client ID and your Client secret that you'll find  in the Slite application you created in Okta⁠ .

Step three: Go back to Okta

Head back to Okta and go to Applications created, then Settings.
Under the General tab, copy and paste the Client ID & Client secret into Slite.
Click Validate and save. Every member of your Slite team is now required to sign-in through Okta.

Select OpenID authentication and copy the link at the bottom link (as shown in the screenshot below.)
