An exciting milestone: Announcing our $11M series A

I hope you're safe and holding up, wherever you are.

With the current events, we all need some good news. We're excited to share that we raised an $11M financing round led by Spark Capital. In the midst of this crisis, it seems like a great way to reassure you that we're here to stay, and share what's next.

But first, thanks

Two years ago we launched a simple "note app for teams". Since then, we've talked to thousands of teams, have seen companies grow with the tool, improving it in return. Today, Slite is the one tool your team needs for all their documents, knowledge, and notes.

We can't thank you enough for your trust and feedback. Slite would have never evolved so much without the amazing teams using it every day.

What's next?

Our upcoming Smart Tables will let your team further organize documents by tagging them, assigning users, filtering and sorting them.

We're also working on an outstanding collaboration experience, starting with an activity feed, better comments and external sharing.

And most importantly, we want to help teams transition to better work habits. When Pierre and I started Slite three years ago, we had two goals:

1. Build a world-class productivity tool,
2. And put our hearts into building an outstanding place to work. We put so much care into hiring, and constantly revisited how we work to make Slite a better place to grow.

I always thought about these two separately, but somehow they've connected along the way.

Our team has developed a written culture, starting all projects by articulating our thoughts on paper. Naturally, we built Slite as the perfect tool to work this way.

It fosters transparency, has led us to being fully remote, and generally helps us create a sane and peaceful work environment.

Improving our UX and interface is a short-term goal.
But helping your team develop calmer, more thoughtful work habits is Slite’s larger mission.

Our manager handbook "Lead by writing" is a good glimpse at what we'll be building in the next years on this matter.

For now, here are three things that can be of interest to you:
