Connect Linear with Slite to embed live previews of cards directly in your docs — great for keeping product, engineering, and support teams aligned.
How the Linear integration works
When you paste a Linear card into a Slite doc, it automatically displays as a rich preview tile instead of a plain URL. These tiles:
- Show the title, status, and key details
- Expand to reveal the card properties (e.g. cycle, priority, assignee, description)
- Link directly back to Linear
- Stay in sync automatically as the original content changes
You can also use the /Linear command directly in the editor.
How to set up the Linear integration
You must be an admin in both Slite and Linear to set up the integration.
Slite supports per-team authentication. This means you set authentication for the entire workspace, just the once.
There are two ways to connect Linear to Slite:
Go to the
Integrations section in your Slite settings, click Add Integrations , then click Install next to Linear.
Alternatively, you can paste a URL of a Linear card in a Slite doc. You will then be prompted to allow Slite to connect to Linear.
